Unlike previous releases of Windows Server, such as 2000 and 2003, Server 2008r2 provides easy access to many features and server roles. Even though I'm MCSE certified, one wouldn't need to be in order to deploy a robust server solution. While I don't mind the command line, I don't feel the addition of an intuitive GUI detracts from the server environment. Surf40 would do well to put the linux "kool-aid" back in the cooler and relax a bit. Server 2008r8 delivers on its promises and (at least so far) is rock solid. (Now let's see what Server 2012 is up to.)
